The entire world is at the onset of the festive season. While you are dreaming of the day to visit us for the celebration, we are on a streak sprucing up the island with festive adorns. As highlighted in our previous newsletter, we have compiled a dazzling festive program under the theme “Glowing Underwater World”.
Apart from the giveaways of exciting prizes to various entertainments and delectable culinary events, the Veligandu team has organized our fourth coral planting event on December 24, 2021. All guests are invited to participate in this complimentary event where one can experience attaching coral fragments onto the coral frame.
To continue educating ourselves to be one step ahead of the challenges climate change brings to the delicate Maldivian environment, we are conducting pilot programs in coral reefs conservation using the reefs surrounding the island. To date, we have deployed three coral frames in the house reef in front of Veligandu’s water sports centre.
At the beginning of this year, we have introduced private airport transfer options. Those departing in the evening can opt to charter the luxury yacht Gadha or a speedboat. Depart from Veligandu at any time you desire, just in time to catch your international flight. This excellent opportunity offers more time at your secluded haven.
Alternatively, you can choose to explore the Male’ Atoll during your final hours of the tropical tale. On your last day, depart from the island in the morning on our luxury Yacht. Revel in a full-day luxury yacht escapade inclusive of the open bar on board, snorkelling in 2-3 different reefs amidst Male’ atoll, visit a sandbank, enjoy lunch, and reach the airport just two hours before your international flight departure.
It was pure joy for the team to have so many top-repeat guests visiting the island in the past months. Early November 2021 alone, we had several of the top-repeat guest arrivals, and we shared these moments on our social media channels. Our tradition is to delight the top repeaters with creative welcomes, including a traditional parade from the jetty.
