Veligandu Island is a renowned romantic destination for couples where the ambience is filled with romantic vibes. We create year-round magical moments for our guests. This February and Valentine’s Day was not much different. Except for the special arrangements curated for the day of lovers.
Some couples celebrated “The Day Of Lovers” on the beach, enjoying ocean activities and at the Spa. Some captured their secluded haven tale with a special video and photo package offered by the Raalhu Photo Studio, while some enjoyed the special candlelit beach dinner. Some guests got engaged in our paradise on the day. Some guests surprised their loved ones with special arrangements symbolizing the undying love. No matter how our guests chose to celebrate, the Veligandu team was thrilled that they could take part in assisting our guests to make cherished memories.
We also had the pleasure of entertaining several repeat guests this year so far. We are looking forward to welcoming more of you in the upcoming months together with first-visit guests. We have lined up several events to mark International Women’s Day, World Water Day, Mother’s Day and Earth Hour in March 2022. Joining the worldwide Earth Hour movement again this year, we will turn off all non-essential electric lights throughout the island for one hour from 20h00 to 21h00. All guests in Veligandu on 26th March 2022 can enjoy a complimentary self-service dinner seated on the beach with candle lights on the occasion of Earth Hour. The food spread on the normal buffet area inside Dhonveli restaurant will just have essential electric lights on.
