We have reached the end of March. A glorious month of sunshine and fantastic tropical weather for beach, dive and romance here in Veligandu, your secluded island.
April will bring an auspicious month for people from different backgrounds. April 02 will see the start of Ramadan. We wish strength and blessings to those fasting during Ramadan. We are also hosting a special dinner on the beach for Easter Sunday. The dinner is a traditional Easter feast served under a sea of stars. Limited seats are available, be sure to reserve your seat well in advance.
A luxurious day or night in the middle of the ocean is something never to miss while in the Maldives. Veligandu offers an array of excursions via our luxury yacht, Gadha1, from day-long or half-day escapades to wedding ceremonies or marriage proposals and transfers from or to the airport. These excursions can be curated as you desire. Our guests even include atoll cruising excursions packaged into their airport transfer. So you can go snorkelling in different reefs of Ari Atoll or Male’ Atoll, exploring sandbanks, glancing at the dolphin while they show off during sunset and many more before travelling to the airport.

Maldives revokes a state of public health emergency and eases COVID-19 restrictions on March 14, 2022. The pre-arrival PCR test is no longer required for all passengers arriving in the Maldives. However, all arriving and departing passengers must complete the Traveler Health Declaration Form within 48 hours of the flight time. Guests can refer to COVID-19 Travel Advisory – Maldives Immigration for the latest information.
