The countdown for the resort renovation closure had started. For the remaining four months of 2023, we will lead you on a barefoot adventure of a lifetime to experience the best of Veligandu Island and its hospitality and have curated weekly programs for our beloved guests to enjoy every month. Each event is crafted based on a special monthly theme, making it easy for you to hang up on life and be part of Veligandu's history.
February features a week of romance from 11th – 17th, 2023. A week of sustainable activities is scheduled from March 25th - 31st to resonate with the annual commemoration of Earth Hour, an Easter-licious week of dining and activities from April 8th - 14th, 2023, and a history-making celebration week from May 15th - 21st, 2023 to mark the end of the current Veligandu era just before the resort closure.
We will introduce a Memory Book in February for guests to jot down their thoughts, ideas, secluded island memories, and wish lists for the new, more sustainable, improved Veligandu.
There will be a 'Veligandu Passport' for each week as a way for the guests to record special events. A stamp will be issued for select events, which we trust will be a nostalgic souvenir to keep. At the end of your stay, based on the number of stamps collected, guests will also get exciting prizes for participating. The luckiest explorer participating in the May 2023 celebration week will win a 3 nights holiday inclusive of a transfer for two at Veligandu Island when the resort reopens in 2024!

If you have any special requests or enquiries prior to your arrival or during your stay, you can always reach us at reservations@veligandu.com. Once you are on the island, you can book all your activities through your Island Host, who is just a WhatsApp text away.
If you cannot find availability for your travel dates, do reach out to our reservations team. To help you plan to travel, avail up to 15% - 20% for your stay from now to May 31, 2023.
